In 2011, Lion Forge was co-founded by David Steward II and Carl Reed, becoming a leading comic book and graphic novel publisher. Understanding the demand and change in communication, Lion Forge expanded into animation and games, creating Lion Forge Labs. At Labs, we create multi-platform storytelling services that help brands measure their success differently than traditional advertising.
Now, Lion Forge Labs is a staff of over twenty people with over one-hundred years of animation, publishing, and digital marketing experience. Our creators are as diverse as the audiences we reach. Again, authentic.
What makes our story special? Because of our foundation in storytelling, Lion Forge labs can develop both branded and unbranded content with a goal towards delivering the highest quality of presentation and storytelling acumen, with a firm commitment to transparency and integrity with our creators and partners.

The brands below are just a sample of clients who are as passionate about storytelling as we are. We’ve worked with small nonprofit organizations and large Fortune 500 companies. For each client, we use a carefully-crafted process to identify or create compelling characters, clarify a narrative arc, and decide on the best medium to transmit the message. Through interactive gaming, fast-paced comic stories, and lively animations, we bring a kinetic energy to brands both big and small.
